THE DAILY ABBOTT: hospital bars
http://thedailyabbott.blogspot.com/2010/04/hospital-bars.html
Sunday, April 18, 2010. Hospital gown and ready to go. Actually he was ready to eat and kept asking "bite, pease. We had to stay over night for a "23 hour" observation because of his age. In a way it felt like a bit of a vacation for me. I had plenty of reading time when Flint was sleeping. In fact I read almost the entire book for book club this week,. The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. And puppy were picked up every time he dropped them. As well as the Duckie. She so helpfully suggested.

Michelle Knapp (now Glass) and I were roomates in college the year after my mission and the year before I got married! It truly was the best year of my college days. I have priceless memories from our time together. I'm so grateful that we are still friends and that we make the effort to get together and that are children will grow up knowing each other! http://thedailyabbott.blogspot.com/2014/01/gratitude-day-4.html
Sunday, January 5, 2014. Right now, I can't even keep up with my own life and responsibilities so an added duty didn't automatically register as a joyous occasion. I'm so grateful that I didn't allow myself any time to dread or begrudge this opportunity. I had a wonderful time today! Sunday, January 05, 2014. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). THE DAILY ABBOTT
http://thedailyabbott.blogspot.com/2011/08/death-be-not-proud-holy-sonnet-10-by.html
Wednesday, August 10, 2011. Death, be not proud (Holy Sonnet 10). Death, be not proud, though some have called thee. Mighty and dreadful, for thou are not so;. For those whom thou think'st thou dost overthrow. Die not, poor Death, nor yet canst thou kill me. From rest and sleep, which but thy pictures be,. Much pleasure; then from thee much more must flow,. And soonest our best men with thee do go,. Rest of their bones, and soul's delivery. Thou'art slave to fate, chance, kings, and desperate men,. Pione...

Best Family: August 2012
http://mikeandlisabest.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 13, 2012. We're excited for a new school year and mom is excited to be back on schedule! As much as I love the lazy, noncommittal days of summer there is something calming about getting back into a routine. Sebastian started 2nd grade in the same school but a new building. Dad is coaxing that he wants to be a pilot for "fun" and get a "real" job when he grows up. Mackenzie with Mrs. Amanda. Dylan is still sleeping in and practicing his cool looks. He loves to make us laugh!

Thursday, March 18, 2010. Received the following e-mail from my mom today. She's in Haiti with a humanitarian group (Healing Hands for Haiti). She's gone several years but with the recent devastation this trip has been more difficult than previous ones. I get it. It's not like I've been vacationing for the last several months! That all being said I can't wait to meet this little guy. who'll hopefully have a name very, very soon! Wednesday, March 17, 2010. On a daily basis. K: "mom, do have ipod? Of cours...

Best Family: September 2009
http://mikeandlisabest.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 30, 2009. I love when this. Looks like this in less than 10 hours! Was running through the house and caught the corner of an open chest of drawers with her noggin. The scream ended quickly. almost as quickly as the swelling began. I didn't realize a bump could swell so much and so rapidly. Maybe she has a little of her Uncle Matt (aka Wolverine) in her. The human body is an amazing thing! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Mike's Insanity (AKA 50 State Ride). The Bests in Japan's Blog.

Wednesday, March 17, 2010. On a daily basis. K: "mom, do have ipod? Mom: "yes, sweetie". K: "can we hear beat beat? Your Aunt L'Jean would be so proud! Of course, this is instigated because her brother loves the song just as much. He informed me today that he'd rather Michael Jackson than anyone else. I'm sure he'll change his mind tomorrow but today it made me smile! Yes I am so proud. They are just too cute. March 21, 2010 at 6:00 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). On a daily basis.
