Thursday, May 28, 2009. This is the view from my favorite window in the house, pictures can't do it justice. I love to just stop and observe; the roses, the grapevines, the crepe myrtles, the birds, the sounds. It's just unfortunate that this window is in my bathroom. Pears beginning to form. Fig tree starting to bud. I love the little arms on the grapevines. Our first spring rose. Blooms on bradford pear tree. Mean, mean knife set. White has always been a good color on Tanner. Fresh Air and Sunshine!

Saturday, October 30, 2010. We meet some friends at Trader Joe's today to do a pumpkin painting event. The kids loved it! Their clothes got ruined but I figured it was going to happen so I put them in old clothes. After seeing the clothes come back from Kindergarten I'm not surprised anymore at how bad they ruin their outfits. After the painting event we went to Barnes and Noble for story hour. Living a crafty life with 4 beautiful children. September 28, 2016. It’s taken me quite some time to jump on the Sophie’s Universe bandwagon. I was immediately impressed with Dedri Uys’ pattern and its creative possibilities but my ongoing shoulder problem made me think the project would be too difficult and eventually too big and heavy to manage. Four weeks ago I had my 6th procedure and while in recovery decided to just go for it. Colours and hooks were selected and I jumped straight in. August 29, 2015.
