Scigirl's Scribblings: I Have 4 iPods
http://sciscribble.blogspot.com/2007/01/i-have-4-ipods.html
Friday, January 12, 2007. I Have 4 iPods. Oh, yes. The prudent might ask if 4 iPods are necessary for one person and the mature response would be “no.” However, maturity rarely makes an appearance in my household, so it’s opinion is disregarded. Of course, all was not perfect in mp3-land. First, my music service was Rhapsody. Rhapsody does not like iPod and the feeling is mutual. My beloved monthly subscription service was useless! No worries, software to take care of that also. So the 60-gig goes into s...

Scigirl's Scribblings: And The Stakes Rise...
http://sciscribble.blogspot.com/2007/01/and-stakes-rise.html
Wednesday, January 10, 2007. And The Stakes Rise. I’m certified to the hilt. It just goes to show that letters mean different things to different people. I think of the DOE as Dept. Of Energy, not Education. It sounds like you've created a perfect niche for yourself. After all, you are SciGirl, the Mistress of All Science Geeks! It's good to see you. It's was nice to check in here and see something new. I'm glad your back to writing. Good luck studing for your test. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Scigirl's Scribblings: August 2005
http://sciscribble.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 30, 2005. The Tornado Lands in Oz. Like the Wicked Witch of the East, I have been feeling like a house has fallen on my head. Not in a bad way, really, just loads of various occurrences forming an event horizon with ground zero in my living room. 1 Cruise - GREAT! Loved every minute of it and am already considering another trip next summer. Perhaps the Scandanavian region. Only downside was that I got a cold on the trip and it lasted the entire voyage. 4 Continuing with the medical train ...

Scigirl's Scribblings: New Teachers
http://sciscribble.blogspot.com/2007/01/new-teachers.html
Thursday, January 11, 2007. It is a phenomenon of science that the greater the discrepancy between two objects or areas, the faster the transfer of materials between them. Two objects differing greatly in temperature will experience a rapid transfer of heat. Two solutions differing greatly in concentration will experience a rapid rate of diffusion. In two populations, disparate in age, should we expect the rapid transfer of knowledge? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Reflections of the Moon.

Scigirl's Scribblings: The Illusion of Friendship
http://sciscribble.blogspot.com/2007/01/illusion-of-friendship.html
Saturday, January 13, 2007. The Illusion of Friendship. I don't know what happened, but I don't doubt that something did. I'm sorry.it was nice to see you again. I'm glad to see you posting here, though. I like to check in from time to time; as long as you don't mind. I never needed your support, nor for you to laugh at any of my jokes. I only wanted for you to be well. I checked in on you frequently, and you never answered my e-mails. When I called out of worry for you, you hollered at me. Just that lit...

Scigirl's Scribblings: May 2006
http://sciscribble.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 18, 2006. Now, I have an excuse to buy more books. Wednesday, May 17, 2006. Friday is the Senior Prom. This means that the juniors and seniors will all be dismissed at 11:00 to get ready. Last Friday was the big band trip to Six Flags. We have awards assemblies, band concerts, etc. galore right now, so one can say the year is officially over. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Reflections of the Moon. Simple template. Powered by Blogger.

Scigirl's Scribblings: Return of the Jedi
http://sciscribble.blogspot.com/2007/01/return-of-jedi.html
Wednesday, January 10, 2007. Return of the Jedi. I am surprised that it has taken this long for me to get back into gear for writing. Actually, I'm not surprised. I am an incredibly lazy being and anything that I can do to reduce the ins and outs of my day is very likely to happen. With the additional burdens of my life, writing has taken a back seat. A far back seat. The caboose of the train. Either way, I have a job, so I'm not complaining. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Reflections of the Moon.

Scigirl's Scribblings: Horror Movies
http://sciscribble.blogspot.com/2007/01/horror-movies.html
Thursday, January 18, 2007. I’ve been watching a lot of horror movies lately and I’m not quite sure why. Admittedly, I enjoy the flicks, but I always wonder what is the cause of any genre bias in either reading or video watching. Without fail, I always avoid chick flicks and sentimental clap trap and I understand that pattern. I am not a chicky, weepy femme so those pictures have little appeal to me.
