Research of a different kind. For the past few days, I've caught the "pet" bug, maybe because my housemate has a zoo. Anyway, I think I'm slightly OCD, so I don't think I'll be getting a dog or cat.but I was contemplating getting fish, in particular, a betta! Just thinking about it makes me happy. So even though I didn't get to go home as long as I would have liked (only a day)! And I had to drive home on Thanksgiving, I still loved getting to go home to see my parents and shop! On Friday, I didn't go out early or anything (no need to brave the 2am sales.I'm all for getting some sleep). I got an extremely nice PURPLE dress coat from Miss Sixty.$260 original price, final price for me $90! Some shoes, and a few things from Express. All in all, a pretty fab haul! Smallville (for the hunky Tom Welling).

So, I love my new iPod. Years ago (as in like 3-4 years ago), I told myself that I was never going to buy one of these. 1) Because they never go on sale. 2) Everyone has them. But I succumbed and purchased a nano almost 2 years ago. It's served me well, going to work, working out in the gym etc. My old mp3 player busted about a year or 2 in, and I got sick of having to buy new batteries for it. So here comes the iPod touch. Not iPhone. 2) I'm on a family plan. 3) I don't really need internet all the time.

Another long break between posts, sorry about that. The stress of experiments is still here, but this time more relegated freaking out about what the results will be, problems with assays, etc. So frustrating and stressed. UGH! On the personal side of things, one of my friends suggested journaling. To vent, to write down what I'm feeling etc. Have any of you ever kept a journal? What do you write about? And have you kept up with it? Out of curiosity, what is the difference between a diary and a journal?

Also some parts I thought were a tad excessive for kids - violence (there were kids sitting around us).
