Why am I here? What is it that I'm searching for in this strange place, day after day? Amalthea, The Last Unicorn. Sunday, December 02, 2007. Oh - they just turned the alarm off! Anyways, I climbed down 8 flights of stairs, (we live on the 9th floor), before meeting the office manager and the firemen - it's just a water main break. So . I got to climb back up 8 flights of stairs. What fun! I got back into bed, (at 4:49am), but decided I probably wasn't going to sleep if the alarm was going off.

Why am I here? What is it that I'm searching for in this strange place, day after day? Amalthea, The Last Unicorn. Thursday, November 23, 2006. I think it's -17 not including windchill. And SNOW. Lot's and lot's of it. 'Cause apparently all the snow we had before was not enough. So I've got to go and put a thousand layers on so I can walk to school. And then go early so I have time to take some of the layers off before class. Wednesday, November 22, 2006. At least the sun is out. Sigh We're meeting later...

This past weekend - early on the am on Sunday, the fire alarm went off. Yay. We went to Denny's. Which is where we decided to hide out after the alarm went off in our building. I don't know if there was an actual fire, though the hallway smelled like something woodsy burning. Odd since I sleep through the noise made in the back alley at night and she doesn't.

One tire in particular was losing air at an alarming rate and its two buddies weren't much better. One of the original set had already self-destructed so we did have. Decent tire on our vehicle.
