From the sublime to the ridiculous. Saturday, 4 August 2012. Yes, I was an Olympic cynic. But I bloody love the Olympics. London, GBR, Ennis, the cyclists, the rowers, Danny Boyle's opening ceremony – just superb. I am immensely proud. Links to this post. The gist of it: inspiration. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Mellifluous Dark: April 2011
http://mellifluousdark.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
From the sublime to the ridiculous. Thursday, 14 April 2011. They're not just for Easter. Is it just me that believes Cadbury creme eggs were available all year round in the 70s and 80s? They aren't Easter fayre, are they? Do I have false Cadbury's memory syndrome? Links to this post. The gist of it: food and drink. Wednesday, 13 April 2011. There is an organisation that purports to bring together women who are about to have babies. It sometimes even welcomes the men in their lives, acknowledging. My fri...

Exploring the relationship between what is and…. June 18, 2008. I’m holding my hugs for a second longer looking at bewildered eyes as the embrace loosens. My smile comes quickly when approaching a stranger the beauty of changed expression alight on their face. I scan for bright flowers while walking the neighborhood, look at that purple, orange or pink! Filed in life being lived. One Response to “Yumminess”. May 21, 2009 at 4:10 pm. Love this one… it’s such a wonderful way to live. Very, very nice.

To taste a peach. Monday, July 30, 2012. Wasting time in a wannabe writer way. Monday, July 9, 2012. Glug glug glug- just chugging along, typing up notebook stuff. It's disarray (no not in disarray- it is disarray itself).- with one notebook page spanning three totally different parts of the story. Oh how I am not looking forward to all the work it will take to get this story typed up and in proper order. to taste a peach: Quadruple drat
http://totasteapeach.blogspot.com/2013/11/quadruple-drat.html
To taste a peach. Saturday, November 23, 2013. Oh apparently I've totally botched distinguishing affect from effect. What is the effect of not realizing this? But most of what I read about it, just made me confused. The whole aardvark easy noun thing for remembering affect is a verb. And if you replace transform which is a noun for affect in a sentence and it works then that shows it is right because affect is a verb. Say what? Darn research, and grammar, time swallowing annihilators. 70,444 / 70,000.

To taste a peach. Saturday, January 4, 2014. There was a time when I was like. A New year= a new me. Now I say, No way. My New Years resolution is just to find out what works for me, and do it. It involves trial and error and tweaking. It is not about rules. Or some program I can be on or fall off of. It is about aiming for something and finding out my best way of working toward it. I feel an internal shifting. I know it wont settle and land for a good long while. And okay. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

To taste a peach. Monday, April 16, 2012. Sometimes I suppose I am but a Winnie-the pooh type, dragging my own Piglety self ever round in circles tracking imagined woozles in the snow. Like magazines, my life covers the same topic year after year. For me, progress involves a lot of time, and occurs in small increments- be it my weight, my writing, and lately my balance. I am trying really hard to ditch negative mindsets. Monday, April 2, 2012. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). 70,444 / 70,000. 108,862. silk.

To taste a peach. Saturday, October 6, 2012. Well at least I am writing again. Strange how sometimes it feels such a part of my life, such a part of me- but then can just slip away- til I realize days, even weeks have past. I had lost the feeling of it. Anyway, my head still hurts from last night- partying? This way is like hanging out with friends revealing their secrets to me, the other way is like trying to interview tight lipped strangers.
