In the Garden at the Lake: February 2009
http://gardenfivelakes.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
In the Garden at the Lake. Monday, February 2, 2009. This past December I was fortunate to spend a week at the lake. Spending time next to a warm fire while watching the snow fall over the winter garden reminded me how important it is to rest. Not the type of rest where I fall asleep rather the kind of rest where I move from a human"doing" to a human"being." Deep within, the garden, in silent stillness be. Planted and Pruned by Linda M. In the Garden at the Lake: To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven...

In the Garden at the Lake. Tuesday, June 2, 2009. To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. Since the last post, my purpose has been spring cleaning the garden. However, these blooming beauties deserved a photo op. These have a beautiful fragence that make checking the mail a treat. I loved the way the light illuminated this Michigan Cranberry bush. Just the tops of these Iris on the hill were hit with morning sunlight. Poppies waiting to unfold in the morning sun.
