Thursday, March 17, 2011. Preston is 1 year old! I can't believe it! I have a toddler now! He is walking, saying a few words (stop, yes, Kate), and getting into everything. I am amazed at all that he can do and understand in just one short year. I have a twinge of sadness but feel overwhelmingly blessed! I have friends who aren't able to experience this moment and I pray for their strength daily. Here are a few pictures from the party. Grandma Malinda made several fruit trays. Swing, batta, batta, swing!

Thursday, April 8, 2010. We gave PJ his first bath on Monday.we waited a while because his nose has been stopped up.he really enjoyed it though.he only squirted mommy twice! J and PJ.The Dynamic Duo! PJ's First Photo Shoot. So you know we had to play around with the camera and get some shots of our darling son.I think we did pretty well for waking up last Sunday and posing him on the couch.what do you think? So, it's been a minute and Happy Easter! I made his Easter bucket all by myself!

Tuesday, September 29, 2009. Well, I have finally decided to start blogging. Our life has changed so much, and Allie is changing daily! I thought this would be an easier way to keep up with everything going on in the Jenkins' home. Allie is 8 months old now, and I feel like I was just in the St. Vincent's hospital room where I delivered! These have been the fastest, and most incredible 8 months of my life. During the past few weeks she has started crawling, pulling up, and has cut two more teeth!

When I hold her sleeping, I notice the small pores of her nose, the small hairs on her body, the tiny veins running through her body, and of course, the sound of her heart beat. How incredible! I love those tiny fingers and toes, and the sound of her babbling (especially now that she says mommy non-stop! How can someone not be amazed by all of that?
