http://elsieandreid.blogspot.com/2009/06/where-have-we-been-may.html
Monday, June 8, 2009. Where Have We Been? Both of the kids are really into Thomas the train, so we went to see him at Greenfield Village. We bought a membership so we can go back and visit the village and museum again. It was a fun day. We got to go on a train ride that had an actual Thomas as the engine. And they had a lot of other fun activities around the village. Here is Elsie loving her carousel ride. And Reid having just as much fun! And whats better than a Thomas made out of Lego's? My parents are...

Philabaum Twins: October 2008
http://elsieandreid.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 23, 2008. Reid is obsessed with pulling the wagon. But he usually has a passenger in it since Elsie enjoys being pulled around. Here they come down the street. Now today for the 1st time, I turn around and the tables are turned. Reid is the passenger. Here they go taking off down the street. Thankfully they don't go very far. Just 1 house down in each direction and then they turn around. Then the boys and kids went out fishing and for a boat ride. Elsie found the perfect one. Nana was h...

Philabaum Twins: July 2008
http://elsieandreid.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 27, 2008. This week we got together with Max and Anna to send a get well card to Tuesday. This was our best attempt. It is really hard to get 4 kids to co-operate at the same time. We initially wanted the kids to hold the signs. As you can see, that didn't work out. So as I said before. We need as many prayers as possible. Little Tuesday has a long road ahead of her. Party at Shepard Lake. This is Reid and Elsie off with Megan and Sarah. They were great babysitters for the weekend. This is m...

Snoscootrs Wild Ride: August 2010
http://snoscootr.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
The Point Of The Journey Is Not To Arrive. Sunday, August 29, 2010. Catching up on Things. It's been several months since my last blog, due to many reasons. Life sometimes gets in the way of plans. Work, family, schedules, responsibilities and so forth all contributed to my lack of updates. I also have decided to dedicate this blog to mostly Vermont and snowmobile related things, and have actually started another to cover other adventures-or misadventures! See the link to the side. And many, many more.

Snoscootrs Wild Ride: January 2013
http://snoscootr.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
The Point Of The Journey Is Not To Arrive. Sunday, January 20, 2013. I was out for 2-3 hours, and when I woke up the pain was gone. I was sore from all the cutting, pushing, tugging, and everything else they did, but I could tell it was already better. Amazing cannot begin to describe it. Still some soreness from surgery, but all of the agony I was feeling before was gone! Onto my favorite topic-Snowmobiling! A quick 25 mile shakedown cruise, and everything felt good. The trails varied from thin in s...

Snoscootrs Wild Ride: April 2009
http://snoscootr.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
The Point Of The Journey Is Not To Arrive. Wednesday, April 29, 2009. The Long Way Home-Part 1. Once we accomplished these tasks we decided we would take a road less traveled toward home. We have been talking about going the "back" way for a while, on the roads we see parallel the main highway, and it was a wonderfully warm day, so we set the GPS to "Home" and "Least use of Highways" to see which way it would direct us. There was even an old time water tower for the steam locomotive on a flat bed car.

The Point Of The Journey Is Not To Arrive. Sunday, January 23, 2011. Finally.Winter has Arrived! After hiding long past its due date, winter has arrived in the northeast! More so in CT than VT, but finally showing it's true color-white! After meeting up with Pete, we headed out to gas up. The day was kind of gray with the sun peeking out on occasion from behind the clouds. After a back trail warm up ride, we headed off to the north. Arriving at the drag races after a bumpy journey, we pulled up to gr...

Snoscootrs Wild Ride: March 2009
http://snoscootr.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
The Point Of The Journey Is Not To Arrive. Monday, March 23, 2009. After finishing early on Saturday we decided to go up and check the progress. We felt it should be close, if not complete and decided to stay up there overnight. Well, as always, what a difference a week makes. It appears all of the main work is complete, with only window trim, and doors for the storage alcoves remaining. Saturday, March 14, 2009. The Walls are Closing in on us. As you can see the rear wall, side wall, and 1/2 of the ceil...

Philabaum Twins: November 2008
http://elsieandreid.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 12, 2008. Just in case anyone is wondering, this is how my recovery is going. I am attempting to sit on the couch with my foot up, but it is difficult with 2 kids and books. They don't want to be anywhere else but there. Oh well, at least I know they love me. Oh and this picture is about 1 hr after we got home, so I still look a little drugged here. Sunday, November 9, 2008. Belated Happy Halloween and Happy Birthday to Me. Reid as the lion. Putting puzzles together at playgroup.

The Point Of The Journey Is Not To Arrive. Sunday, July 26, 2009. Top of The World-and Other Places. After returning, the rain stopped so we decided to take a drive down Route 2 which runs East/West through the state. Through towns like Marshfield, where we saw a collapsed structure. The State House in the capital city was very prominent even from a distance, with the golden dome reflecting the faint rays of the sun appearing through the clouds. Personally I was hoping it was the one that made you look t...
