Tim's Amazing Wonderful Blog of Awesomeness. Friday, December 10, 2010. Savior of the Nations Come. Friday, December 3, 2010. 1) Jesus' name was mentioned 17 times. 2) The verbs were: Made holy, slain, took, slain, died, rose, came, rose, came, and is. 3) The theme of Borghardt’s sermon differed greatly from Edwards’ sermon. Although only a segment of Edwards’ sermon, which totaled six hours, I find it hard to believe that he mentioned Christ as much as Borghardt did in fifteen minutes.

Wednesday, December 22, 2010. Conserve, Reuse, Recycle, and Human Cadavers? 1 I thought Semrau's quote, "Have you figured out that I'm going as a cadaver, an anatomical gift? Revealed his point the most. This quote places at the bottom of fifth column. I could approach his point at this quote when he talked about imagining him being in the cadaver, or anatomical gift. Friday, December 10, 2010. Luther uses pathos to reveal his theme as well. For example, "Wondrous birth! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Pyles of Information: Are Sermons Really Christ-Centered?
http://pyledrived.blogspot.com/2010/12/are-sermons-really-christ-centered.html
Thursday, December 2, 2010. Are Sermons Really Christ-Centered? 1 Reverend Borghardt use the word "Christ" a total of 24 times. Some verbs uses to reveal what Christ does: makes holy, slain, took your sins, died for you, lives again, died, rose, makes us alive, does not push away, smiles, reigns on the throne, and lives with. Tim's Amazing Wonderful Blog of Awesomeness. Wednesday, February 23, 2011. If it is true that this is really bad, is Postman the only one who sees it? He does make some good points in the book so maybe he is right. Maybe we should stop entertaining ourselves with constant stimulation, and get back to our roots. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Tim's Amazing Wonderful Blog of Awesomeness: Silence
http://timsblog010203.blogspot.com/2011/02/silence.html
Tim's Amazing Wonderful Blog of Awesomeness. Monday, February 7, 2011. Relating to Postman's book, I found that as he said, I could not express myself. Someone could ask me questions until I they got the answer right but I, on my own, could not really say anything. This did teach me a lesson. I never realized how helpless I was without words to say how I felt. February 7, 2011 at 10:41 AM. February 7, 2011 at 2:10 PM. February 7, 2011 at 6:59 PM. February 9, 2011 at 6:15 PM.
