The Mom and Pop Shop: July 2010
http://momandpopshop.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
The Mom and Pop Shop. Thursday, July 29, 2010. Four months today. I think I should put down some memories of that day. I'm not sure why.maybe for posterity. Or just for me. I'll back up a few days. I talked to. He said, "You'd better be." I asked her to please take it easy for that week. I think I talked to her when we got home that evening. She said she was going to rest as much as she could all week because Alex and his family were coming the end of the week and she wanted to feel good enough to "play"...

The Mom and Pop Shop: December 2009
http://momandpopshop.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
The Mom and Pop Shop. Friday, December 18, 2009. Matthew is the only one of the boys who played soccer as a kid. It hadn't taken over the country, then, the way it has now. When Matthew played, Dave Simons was his coach. At the end of the season Matthew got the mumps, so he missed the final game. This summer Luke coached a team of kids. He enjoyed that, but I don't think they won any games. Doesn't matter much when you're six. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The new shower in our bathroom: fabulous and a gift from all. Samantha flew out to go skiing. Matthew, Josh, Dad, Luke, Hebe and Carley and Tyler. The trip to NYC: the most ...

The Mom and Pop Shop: Hello!
http://momandpopshop.blogspot.com/2011/04/hello.html
The Mom and Pop Shop. Thursday, April 28, 2011. I just finished reading "Making Toast" by Roger Rosenblatt. His daughter Amy died in 2007, when she was 37. Her three children were very young. He is an excellent writer. Reading another family's experience was like reliving our own, in many ways. But he was angry. I am not angry, I just hurt. But that reminded me of an experience I should put in black and white. I may have shared it with some, but this is for .I don't know what. May 1, 2011 at 6:45 AM.

The Mom and Pop Shop: November 2009
http://momandpopshop.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
The Mom and Pop Shop. Monday, November 2, 2009. We made a purchase Saturday. We replaced something that we have had in this house, I think since we built it. I hated to spend the money, but Dad was certain it was justified. I hope the next time you visit, you won't miss the old one. You may remember that Dad traditionally does fancy pumpkins with carving kits and stencils. Well, since we were close to breaking tradition, he didn't do the pumpkins. We didn't even buy pumpkins, can you believe it?
