Mains & puddings. For sharing or filling up - dishes to mix and match. We recommend a glass of “Cuesta” manzanilla dry sherry. Tapas @ 4.15 each. Poor mans’ potatoes ( peppers, spices and onions). Baked Aubergine with tomato and feta. Roast squash with basil oil and toasted walnuts. Lentil and vegetable Dhal. Goats’ cheese frittata. Tapas @ 5.15 each. Mains & puddings. For the past ten years Moorish has been flourishing in Ashburton, in the heart of Devon, between Exeter and Plymouth. Serving a changing repertoire of small and large dishes with flavours from Spain and the eastern Mediterranean. Our well balanced and informed selection of wines complements these dishes in which we use many local ingredients. By moorish we mean ‘loosely’ the cuisine that resulted from the Arabic occupation of the eastern Mediterranean and north Africa.
