After 21 longs days and over 2,500 miles on little to no sleep Adam has safety made it home and he couldn’t be happier that his road trip is over. Although there were very few other cars on the road they did encounter quite a few traffic jams with the 100’s of moose and caribou they ran into (but no bears). He did get a brake from driving when they took the ferry on the Alaska marine highway from Whittier to Valdez.

After four long months it was time for us to take a well deserve break. Adam and I decided to go on our first Alaskan adventure tent camping. We packed up the car, tossed in the dog and hit the road to Homer, AK (a four and a half hour drive). He didn’t share very well. Just a little rain. Adam trying to start a fire in the rain.
