Moray Welsh is both a painter and cellist. After many years pursuing a career as a solo cellist and Principal Cellist of the London Symphony Orchestra, he now devotes his time to painting, mainly in oils. He has had several solo exhibitions, in London and Hay on Wye and currently paints at Kingsgate Studios in Kilburn.
