joe foley: Hoo-Ha!
http://joefoley.blogspot.com/2009/06/hoo-ha.html
Tuesday, June 09, 2009. Went down to Harrisonburg this weekend for the Hoo-Ha! I was a hard decision to make, a bitter pill best swallowed quickly than lingered over, and one that no doubt I'll get some flak for. In the end i registered for sport and settled into a nice spot near the front of the starting grid of the 30-39s as the whistle neared. A New Dad Who's Kept His Fitness - Monavie/Cannondale's Jeremiah Bishop. Mike Carpenter (l) and Rich Edwards (r). Good write-up, and great photos, Joe! The deci...

Wednesday, September 07, 2005. The 2005 shenandoah mountain 100. Standing on the starting line on sunday morning i honestly wasn't sure what this year's shenandoah mountain 100. I'd driven down the day before with matt and his wife katie, set up camp with the MORE. On their singlespeeds. saw chris redlack for the first of many times. Jon and i headed out of aid station 4 just after matt. Markie, and mark wigfield came into the aid station while i was there and after about 15 minutes i left with joe and j...

joe foley: August 2004
http://joefoley.blogspot.com/2004_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 31, 2004. Took one of my old housemates up to schaeffer this evening for his 2nd mountain bike ride. he seemed to have a good time, even if he was getting off the bike a lot. we did 6 1/2 miles at a very casual pace. it's great to ride with beginners and be able to see a real difference just during the course of a ride. I'm going to have a picture in issue 110 (next month, 109 is out now) of DirtRag. But it's in the "Rider's Eye" secton, so i wasn't counting that. 1 down, 1 to go. It's 10...

Cyclenut: October 2012
http://cyclenut.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
My biking life as captured in kilobytes and text of my own and of friends I've met in the cycling community. Tuesday, October 23, 2012. Ready to hit the trail, this is fun she exclaimed! Notice her cycling socks! We found martian brains on the trail and she decided she wanted to know what they looked like inside. Taking time to stop and observe and learn. Have I mentioned what a cool kid she is? Sunday, October 21, 2012. More tinkering in the garage. Or a Paul Flatbed. Ciclovia Fat Antonio style.
