Two Dogs and a Baby. Monday, June 29, 2009. And she knows how to use them to wake herself up. It drives me crazy! So here's our night time routine. Bath around 7/7:15. Swaddle and last feed at 7:30. She'll eat for about 15 or so minutes and then I have to keep her upright on my shoulder for 30 minutes before I can put her down otherwise she spits up. Then b/c she's not quite asleep I have to stand over her in her crib with one hand on her legs to keep them from waking her up! Sunday, June 21, 2009. To ce...

Becoming More Earth Conscious One Day at a Time. So I made my own cereal bars this weekend and they turned out awesome so I thought I'd share the recipe. They are just 2 weight watchers points (for those that are counting) the way the recipe is written but I could think of some yummy things I'd add if I didnt care so much about the points (i.e. chocolate chips, different dried fruits, coconut, etc). 1 c Rolled Oats. 3 1/2 c Kashi Go Lean Cereal. 1/2 c cream of wheat. 1/2 c oat bran. 1 tsp baking soda.

A Natural Evolution: Deodorant
http://anaturalevolution.blogspot.com/2011/02/deodorant.html
Becoming More Earth Conscious One Day at a Time. I have very sensitive skin and therefore I have to be careful as to what deodorants I choose so they do not irritate my skin and cause a rash. I used to use Dove deodorant for sensitive skin but when I began my search for a more natural product without aluminum it would either not work or it would end up giving me a rash. I used a Crystal. Here is the recipe. 1/4 cup Baking Soda. That's it. It is really simple, really cheap, and works really well. No one p...

Two Dogs and a Baby. Wednesday, December 24, 2008. Ok, so I finally had S take some pics of me tonight. I think I look huge in them- and I don't think I look this big normally, but we just got back from dinner with the Ts, so part of it is a VERY full stomach. I'll be 23 weeks tomorrow. This one hides my stomach pretty well. Close up of belly! I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and enjoys their time with family/friends tomorrow! Monday, December 22, 2008. So tomorrow is my parents' 40th anniversa...

Two Dogs and a Baby: January 2009
http://twodogsandababyindc.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Two Dogs and a Baby. Wednesday, January 28, 2009. Well really it's an ice day b/c EVERYTHING is frozen over, although it's rapidly melting. Funny thing- watching dogs try to walk on ice covered sidewalks- a very entertaining way to start my day. Tuesday, January 27, 2009. Thanks for the reminder about FLOR tiles, Meg! I did think about them, but was under the impression that they were more expensive. There are definitely designs I like better, but they are too much- so here are the 2 options. We moved th...

Well I became a stay-at-home Mom back in June and I decided to think about using them once again. I found a great program online at Jillian's Drawers. Let me make a rundown of the different types of cloth diapers out there:. These have the convenience of a dispo...
