brain overflow... artful antics and other shenanigans: Recycled Calendar Sketchbook Tutorial!
http://marciafurman.blogspot.com/2011/01/recycled-calendar-sketchbook-tutorial.html
January 20, 2011. Recycled Calendar Sketchbook Tutorial! What to do with old calendars? As you can see, I hoard old calendars. 2004? Rip out the picture you want to use. Trim off anything unwanted, making the main piece around 10" deep. Turn it over, and fold up about 2.5" or 3". this will become inside pockets. At this point, I trim it down horizontally to about 10.75" so I can fit it into an 8.5x11" laminating sheet. Sew around the perimeter. Be sure to use a nice bright color so it looks extra cute!

http://marciafurman.blogspot.com/2015/08/hello-its-been-way-too-long-since-my.html
August 10, 2015. It's been WAY too long since my last blog post! Over the weekend Travis and I celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary by riding a couple new trails! We started in Indiana, PA on the Hoodlebug Trail. Which connected to the Ghost Town Trail. The Ghost Town trail was much nicer with lots of fun things to see. I especially loved the Black Lick Creek that ran along it. Apparently there's so much iron in the water that the entire creed bed was orange! Travis got me a Buca Boot. I actually took...

http://marciafurman.blogspot.com/2008/08/welcome.html
August 19, 2008. My name is Marcia Furman. I'm a "stay at home artist". I specialize in painting, but I love anything where I get to create and work with my hands. I'm 38 years old, but most people think I'm under 18. (being short helps in this area, I'm only 5'0"). I also have two adorable chihuahua mix pups, Neko and Elora. SO many people ask m...
