Sunday, October 18, 2009. Holiday World and New Cousins! Earlier in September, Lydia had her first experience with Holiday World. Micki had some free passes so we took Lydia and Lilly to check things out one Sunday afternoon. Lydia was a bit unsure about some of the rides, but really enjoyed the musical performances and the Nursery Rhyme train. Enjoy some pictures from the past couple of weeks! Sunday, November 16, 2008. This past weekend the three of us headed out to San Francisco, CA to visit Mike Krueger and his girlfriend, Erin. We flew out on Thursday evening and came back on Sunday. This was Lydia's first plane ride, and overall we think she did pretty well. The first leg from Louisville to Atlanta was full of screaming and crying, but the other three flights went very well. Sunday, January 4, 2009. Lydia has officially experienced her first Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Eve/Day. We have been quite busy, but still have had plenty of time to relax and do nothing! School starts back up tomorrow, which means Lydia will head back to daycare. Also during our Christmas break, Lydia broke through her bottom two teeth! Enjoy the pictures below! Lydia also participated in the annual Schweizer Fest Road Run on Saturday morning. Tuesday, May 5, 2009. Happy 1st Birthday, Lydia! On May 2, 2009 we celebrated Lydia's 1st birthday. It's hard to believe it has already been a whole year! She enjoyed her Mickey Mouse themed party and especially enjoyed eating her cake! Friday, July 24, 2009. Since my last post, we have been quite busy. We ended off the month of June by heading to Tampa, Florida for a week with my family. After a week there, we headed north to Navarre Beach to meet up with the Hollinden's for a week at the beach. Lydia did pretty well with all the traveling, but by the end of it, she was ready to be home! She loved our pool in Tampa that was called "Loch Ness" (it was shaped like the Loch Ness Monster! At Honeymoon Beach, and not too excited about it!

Monday, October 13, 2008. A Cross Country Season, Marathon, and Baby Food! Since my last post, Lydia has been to the doctor for her four month check-up and shots. A week before her appointment she started rice cereal. She has now moved up to a jar of baby food each evening and the cereal in the morning. She has tried all the vegetables and is halfway through the fruits and will start applesauce tonight. She is doing pretty well with the whole spoon and highchair concept. Hanging out in the bouncy chair!

Friday, June 5, 2009. Summer break has officially begun in Tell City. So far during the summer we have enjoyed swimming, swinging, falling asleep standing up, and going for rides on the back of the bicycle. I will post some pictures of Lydia riding on the bicycle soon, she really enjoys doing that! We have had some great weather and Grandma Rhonda's pool is heating right up! Enjoy the pics below!
