My Life as MaMa: Easter 2015
http://babygardella.blogspot.com/2015/04/easter-2015.html
Monday, April 6, 2015. I tried to get some pictures of the kids before and after service. The pictures crack me up. Kinlee would not stand still, Paxton hated the grass, and Caleb was cold. I laugh every time I look at them, but I know I will cherish them one day when my kids are grown. This was Easter 2015. I don't even have words for this girl. Trying to get a family picture with her.goodness. She is hysterical. We also colored eggs before heading over to Nick's parents for family Easter. I am a stay a...

My Life as MaMa: July 2014
http://babygardella.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Eating: you are a big boy now! You are eating solids two times a day, and nursing every 3-4 hours. You have tried green beans, peas, pears, applesauce, mango, bananas and carrots. Green beans being your least favorite. You are also eating oatmeal with your morning feed. I started introducing a sippy and you are not sure what to think of it. Sleeping: 8:30-7. At least 2 long naps a day. You generally take a short cat nap in the evening. You laugh at Caleb over anything he does.

My Life as MaMa: February 2014
http://babygardella.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 25, 2014. He is sleeping in his crib, swaddled, and propped up on his boppy. He does not like to lay flat, and thankfully my movement alarm still works with him slightly elevated. He has kind of taken to a soothie pacifier, but is not hooked! His umbilical cord stump also fell off 2 days ago, and he got his first real bath last night. Caleb is doing great with Paxton. He loves to hold him, and gives him a million kisses a day. Wednesday, February 19, 2014. Tidbits I want to remember.

My Life as MaMa: March 2014
http://babygardella.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 27, 2014. We are here. Still figuring out this new world with three children and loving every second. Paxton turned 6 weeks today. 6 whole weeks. That is insane to me. How quickly the weeks/years pass will never stop blowing my mind. 6 weeks as a pregnant woman feels like an eternity, and as a new mom it literally passes within the blink of an eye. Look at those rolls! He reasoning, "I just wanted some tattoos". Oy vey.that girl. Friday, March 14, 2014. Mckinlee Three Years Old. You becam...

My Life as MaMa: December 2014
http://babygardella.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 10, 2014. A few days before Thanksgiving the kids had their preschool Thanksgiving performance and potluck. They both sang and danced, and it was adorable of course! We then enjoyed a meal together. Nick and Meemaw were able to attend so the kids were thrilled with that. We then headed out of town once again to Virginia to spend Thanksgiving with Dad and Sherry. We spent the weekend on a farm, and had so much fun. Paxton loved Thanksgiving dinner, and did not stop eating! We spent lot...

Faith and Nutrition: May 2011
http://faithandnutrition.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Have you ever noticed how you can eat a big meal, feel very content, but yet still want something sweet at the end? I have not been able to find a good answer for why this happens, but I am going to keep looking. Many non-scientific sources will blame it on growing up in a household that always had something sweet after a meal. Food historians think it originated from ancient medical ideas regarding digestion (which I honestly don't think we should count out). Links to this post.

Friday, June 17, 2011. Weekend in the South. Two weeks ago, Michael and I headed down to Nashville for my friend Brooke's wedding and to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. It was a beautiful wedding! My heart needed to see them. We love each other. Rockin on the porch. Links to this post. Monday, June 13, 2011. Eat This Now: Pineapple! One of the most unfortunate fruit tragedies of our day is that most of us grew up eating this:. Manganese (a trace mineral important to bones, thyroid, etc). Preparing for ...

Saturday, July 23, 2011. The Cost of Delaying Marriage" Article Review. Please know that I am not trying to be offensive to anyone by posting these articles. I think they are interesting. Because of the way that I felt growing up, the messages I heard and, even after I became a believer in college, continued to hear. This is a side of the feminist message that you rarely hear. I encourage you to read both articles in their entirety. The Cost of Delaying Marriage. 8220;For everyone else, the call is to ma...
