My house is so empty and quiet. and even Leinie is wondering where the kids are. They both walked right in with no fear! Anna has Mrs. Bell and Joseph has Mrs. Eichenberger. It's just not right to think this is the last day that any of my babies will go to preschool! Joseph is beyond ready for Kindergarten though. He's mastered his letters and numbers, he's a great helper, and the teachers love him almost as much as we do. He's going to conquer the world and melt hearts in the process. The kids did a great job helping me make the pumpkin pies and they did an even better job eating the pies! It was a nice day spent with family and friends. Of course we ate too much food and still found room for dessert. I am thankful for so much! These two sweet faces are pretty high on my list of what I'm thankful for. Posted by Marc and Julie.

Marc took the whole week off for Thanksgiving so item #1 on our list (actually, we didn't have a list, we just decided this morning) was to go to the ICE Exhibit at the Gaylord Texan. The blackberry picking was great. There is a little orchard in Terrell, TX, just about an hour away. We went with our church friends that used to live in Terrell so they knew the perfect time to go. Our friends from Frisco had the day off so we snuck out of school early to go with them to the Arboretum. I'm so glad we did! The weather was perfect and there were very few people there.
