Following Jesus and helping others following Jesus. Newer posts →. Morris’ Musings: I Heard The Bells. December 5, 2015. This is one of my favorite Christmas Carols. I believe the words of the song are just as pertinent today as they were when they were written during the Civil War. The most familiar verses are:. I heard the bells on Christmas day. Their old familiar carols play,. And wild and sweet the words repeat. Of peace on earth, good will to men. And in despair I bowed my head. November 28, 2015.

Joyous Journeys: March 2014
http://joyous-journeys.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 6, 2014. I turned on the space heater dish to warm up the room as I was getting dressed this morning. I set it to high and wheeled off to let Quigley out. When I came back to the space heater a few minutes later, there was hardly any heat coming out of it. I was puzzled. I knew I'd set it to high. Why wasn't it heating up immediately? A few minutes went by and the dish was putting out heat like there was no tomorrow. I just had to give it time to warm up and do its job. Try it. Pick o...

Saturday, January 29, 2011. A passage that I read on The Whisper of God. Spoke directly to my needs today:. God lights the path we walk. Sometimes we can see far ahead but other times we have only enough light to see where we are at the moment. These are the times that we need to take our next step completely with our faith in Him knowing that, although we might stumble, He will not let us fall.”. I praise Him for closing the door as I only want to be where He wants me to be. ( Jer. 29:11. Due to some pe...

Wednesday, January 21, 2015. My 18 lb. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Quigley has a thing - a fetish actually - about his stuffed squirrel. He loves it to death - literally. So much so that I find myself buying him a new toy squirrel to play with quite frequently. This morning, he came bounding up the stairs to my office with his newest squirrel in his mouth. He wanted mommy (that's me) to quit working and play with him. Quiggles is a character in a half. But his gig is up. for now. Links to this post.
