thirtysomething and Backyardigans: I have a Confession...
http://njctexas.blogspot.com/2009/07/i-have-confession.html
The Story of the Stein family- Living, Learning and Growing Everyday. Monday, July 20, 2009. I have a Confession. Like a lot of babies Carter was given a pacifier. Most people call them paci's. We call them pati's. At his one year check-up, Dr. Katz informed me, if I hadn't already, it was time to get rid of bottles and patis. Bottles, no problem. Patis- more of an issue. Noah and I decided we would completely get rid of it by his second birthday. I put it off. The girls were born May 15th. Noah talked t...

The Story of the Stein family- Living, Learning and Growing Everyday. Friday, June 12, 2009. So, I feel like I have a ton of stuff to post and I am really behind. What is this you ask? Well, it's a set of hooks I asked Noah to put up earlier this year in the kitchen. So, I was looking at it last week and realized I could clean them off. The gold bag, that was my school bag. My teacher tote so to speak. Don't need that one anymore. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My Pride and Joy.

thirtysomething and Backyardigans: More from the Fall
http://njctexas.blogspot.com/2009/12/more-from-fall.html
The Story of the Stein family- Living, Learning and Growing Everyday. Monday, December 7, 2009. More from the Fall. Monday, December 7, 2009-. More fall catch-up to do, as I find myself going another month between postings. Ugh. It's was all good though. In my opinion, it was great weather for the Fair, plus the fact that it was a Friday and due to the early morning rain, the crowds were way down. Woo-hoo! My favorite was the deep fried macaroon peanut butter cup. Heavenly! Ready for the Ferris Wheel.

The Story of the Stein family- Living, Learning and Growing Everyday. Friday, March 20, 2009. Potty Training Starts Today. Yup, today's the day. Last year after reading in, "Baby 411," and, "Toddler 411,"- two of my favorite books- that, if done correctly, potty training can be done in one day, I set out to find out more about this one day approach. I cheered and we called Dad and clapped and cheered some more. He looked really proud of himself, which is what you want. Momma: Makenzie doesn't like them?

The Story of the Stein family- Living, Learning and Growing Everyday. Friday, April 3, 2009. Rolling like the 80's. Last Friday the Rountree staff had an 80's skate night at the local roller rink. I was so excited when I read the invitation! Having a December birthday, my parties were almost always indoors and guess what I picked to do? Yup, skate parties. The local rink- the only rink- in Santa Fe, Texas was this little family run one, but we always had fun. Good memories, fun times. We were ready to go!

The Story of the Stein family- Living, Learning and Growing Everyday. Friday, April 24, 2009. Another One I Like. Carter and I were playing in his room this afternoon. We were listening to a CD with children's hymns that Carter calls his, "Sunday School CD." The song, "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands," was playing as Carter and I were putting together a puzzle. Then the verse started that says, "He's got the teeny tiny babies in Hands, He's got the whole world in His hands.". Shocked, I said, "What?

The Story of the Stein family- Living, Learning and Growing Everyday. Tuesday, October 27, 2009. UPDATE 10/31/09- PICS HAVE BEEN ADDED! I know, right? Long time, no update. No good reason, just excuses- Carter stopped napping and that's when I would usually update. We got a lap top and I don't have any pictures on the lap top, so I put off posting until I am on the desk top, which I never seem to be on anymore. I spend too much time on Facebook. So, no excuses. In August, we went downtown to Dallas Union...

The Story of the Stein family- Living, Learning and Growing Everyday. Saturday, January 31, 2009. Today we were driving in the car and Carter saw a car wash. You know, the drive through ones that are at most gas stations. Well, we drove by one today and he said, "Is that a washing machine? For the car to take a shower. A washing machine.". Yes, that's a washing machine for the car. It's called a car wash.". So, it's a washing machine? Sure It's a washing machine.". Links to this post. Show me Carter.".

The Story of the Stein family- Living, Learning and Growing Everyday. Thursday, April 9, 2009. I love to hear Carter talk out loud. Hearing how he interprets things is so important to me. I just love to know what he is thinking in his sweet little mind and I enjoy finding out what is swirling around in his head. This afternoon gave me some fun insight. I heard him chatting in the hallway and I went in to go see what he was going on and on about. The commentary was hilarious! Then, he quickly turned to th...
