Dec 5, 2010. Doug and I went to Hawaii with some friends over the Thankgiving break. We were on the north shore of Oahu at Turtle Bay. It was sooo gorgeous and we had an amazing time relaxing by the beach. Here are some pictures. This was our hotel. James was unsure at first but he LOVED playing with the sand and running in the water. Poor Caroline. James obviously didn't know how to share :(. Some pretty views all around. We visited Matsumoto's to get their famous shaved ice. Anyone have any tips?

Jul 10, 2011. So I've been planning to make rain gutter display bookshelves for about a year (a tutorial can be found here. I love that you can see the pictures on the front of each book and that they're front and center instead of in a basket in the corner. It makes James want to read them more! Anyways, we FINALLY got around to it. We have a third shelf, but not enough children's books to justify putting it up now. That's where you come in! Which ones should we get to fill a third shelf? Our new camera came in the mail the other day, and I've pretty much been obsessed with it. It's always by my side along with its long manual (that I'm STILL trying to get through), and it's like I have a new face. Apr 21, 2010. My First BP MS 150 (Should be called the MS 175). The line stretches for miles. This is the tent for the Schlumberger Cycling Club that I ride with.
