Beryl, however, crashed our party uninvited. We are very fortunate that it didn't quite reach hurricane status, 60 kts is bad enough! Snow or no snow, Plan A was to head south from VA in September, have work done on the boat in Green Cove Springs (near Jax, FL) in October, and be in Boot Key/Marathon, FL by Thanksgiving to enjoy winter in the Keys! Decide how far south to go and for how long! Christmas with family is about as good as it gets! So, Merry Christmas to you wherever you are!

Thursday night's broadcast of The Sound of Music Live. Lacked something. And it may not be what you think. The staging, at least sometimes, didn't lack for economy. I loved how the von Trapps simply walked from their home into the Swastika-decorated concert hall. But the choreography isn't the big thing the show lacked.

Det börjar dra ihop sig mot slutet av denna visstidanställning som det så vackert heter. Kroppen skriker NEJ! Jag har inte kommit till skott med att söka ett endaste jobb och det är bara 20 dagar kvar tills jag slutar. Skärpning! Vi var ute på landet Torsdag em - Lördag morgon = Vi sov över två nätter. Det var skönt att få ett break, men jag känner och längtar efter en längre ledighet.
