Morse Urbex: Errwood Plughole Abseil + Woodhead Tunnel

http://morse-exploring.blogspot.com/2011/10/errwood-plughole-abseil-woodhead-tunnel.html

Errwood Plughole Abseil Woodhead Tunnel. After two very sunny and warm weeks, the rain had come back to England. It was cold, windy, and just very very wet, just one of these days you retreat to your sofa and drink some warm tea. For some to me non apparent reasons though Millhouse had decided that it would be the perfect day to go to. A) the Peak district in the middle of the night, to. B) abseil into the errwood reservoir's plughole. Maybe some other day! This is what Wiki says:. The tunnels are curren...

Morse Urbex: Victoria arches / Cathedral Steps, Mcr (revisited)

http://morse-exploring.blogspot.com/2010/11/victoria-arches-cathedral-steps-mcr.html

Victoria arches / Cathedral Steps, Mcr (revisited). By some referred to as the holy grail of Manchester, the cathedral steps are a set of arches underneath the Manchester city centre next to the river Irwell. The rather difficult access (including the battle with local pigeons) means that they are still in a very good condition. I first visited this place a number of months ago together with Appo, you can see the pictures from that visit here. Repeated flooding of the Irwell resulted in damage to the woo...

http://morse-exploring.blogspot.com/2012/04/some-35mm.html

Over the last two years I've accumulated a number of film cameras. Whilst I wouldn't want to miss my digital SLR, film has got its moments. Pictures come out as they were shot, they have their unique film colours and maybe best, you have to wait until the film is shot and developed until you can view the pics, which is often months later. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Victoria arches / Cathedral Steps, Mcr (revisited). Sinteranlage, Duisburg, Germany. Errwood Plughole Abseil Woodhead Tunnel.

http://www.behind-the-city.com/2011/12/you-should-see-ones-in-germany.html

You should see the one's in Germany! The day started early, with me picking Morse up and heading up to Saddleworth to meet FB. We then tanned it over to Leeds to hit St Michael's College. Leeds Catholic College opened in 1905 and later became St Michael's College in 1933. Mount St Mary's College merged with St Michael's in 2005, with the St Michael's College site closing in 2008. We then bounced on over to this beast of a church. We then headed home via Opel 3. Thanks for looking,. City Tower, Manchester.

Chatterley Whitfield Colliery, Stoke on Trent. Me and HiddenShadow headed down to Stoke on Trent to pay Chatterley Whitfield a visit, I'd wanted to do this place for ages, so when the chance arose, I jumped at it. With a rather early start, we were fed and watered and climbing palisade fences well before 10 AM. On the way home we stopped at Morilew pottery which was full of stuff but rather shit still. The Knightmare Rollercoaster, Camelot Theme Park. Clipstone Colliery, St John's Asylum and more. 8216;T...

SNC Mash Up - Manchester Uni Campus. - Behind The City

http://www.behind-the-city.com/2011/12/snc-mcr-mash-up.html

SNC Mash Up - Manchester Uni Campus. A couple of weeks ago, a private message was sent out over Facebook by Mr Millhouse. That message outlined plans for a party in Manchester. Fast forward 2 weeks and twenty odd of us were tearing Manchester a new one. The night continued until the early hours with us sat inside MSS with Sharon the SNC Stereo blasting out some fine beats, beers flowing and stupidity everywhere. A group decision was then made to go run the Uni tunnels. Hilarious isn't the word. After dic...
