Saturday, July 26, 2008. Our Whirl-wind Summer.Spokane, WA.boating. A highlight and favorite memory of our trip was boating. It was gorgeous and Very Fun! What a treat for the Bates to have lake front property, and an even better treat that they would share it with us! The kids, well all of us, could not wait for Steve to push off and go. Zak and Kate Johnson. Thursday, October 20, 2011. We got a groupon for the Helotes Fall Festival and decided to go check it out the beginning of October. We were a bit disappointed with the festival, but Kennedy loved the bounce houses and train/hay rides, so I guess in that case it was a success. She was terrified of bounce houses last fall, so I’m glad she likes them now, she could’ve spent all day in them! Excited to go on the orange train ride. She even got dad to go on both the rides with her.
