With the change that is under your couch cushion or in your pocket, you could supply someone with a warm meal (sometimes their only meal of the day). They wrote us an email stating that they had seen and heard of the work we were doing in the community and wanted to help us with our causes. The email then stated that they were donating $500 to the group to use how ever we see fit. There are a couple of projects that have been on hold because of the lack of funds. Monday, January 4, 2010. We forgot to post a huge thank you to everyone that donated items for the family in need. A few days before Christmas, Michelle and I took all of the clothes, household items, and food to the family. It was a big surprise for them and a very uplifting experience for us.
