Although school 'fees' are a voluntary donation they do make up a substantial portion of our school income and are relied upon to provide learning resources for our children. We therefore appreciate your payment of fees. For 2014 our school fees are as follows:-. We encourage online payment of fees. Yesterday, Room 2 had their first skills session with Mrs Butters, in the Library. She will be doing these special skill sessions with us all in addition to our normal library time. During our time with her we will learn the basics of the library and how to use it correctly. Some aspects will include. Identifying the title and author of a book.

Last term Room 2 and 4 began clearing out the weeds in our overgrown school garden. This week we planted our vegetables together. The older children in Room 4 partnered with a younger student from Room 2. And together, as a team, look what we did! Strawberries, Herbs, Broccoli, Beans, Peas, Lettuce, Radish, Tomatoes and more!

We had a traditional fairy tale dress up day! There were many exciting costumes seen throughout the school on Wednesday.even the teachers got dressed up. Today to add to our Fire wise inquiry we had a visit from some Wanganui fire fighters. The fire fighters talked to us about what to do in the event of a fire. Get down, get low, get out FAST, and stay out! They showed us their safety gear and how their breathing masks work. As we walked outside to have a look through the fire truck, they were called away to a real life fire!
