Friday, July 27, 2012. Boston, Here We. Came! In the spirit of past-tense blogging, it's time to write a post about how we moved to Boston. three months ago. With Aaron's stint in investment banking. The job was to start in two weeks. In Boston. And we were in California. And I mean that sincerely. Granted I did the bulk of my interviews before the economy tanked. They did also ask questions during the interview. That's right. I need to get adult orthodontics. Of all the uses for money, this must.

Tuesday, December 4, 2012. Lisa Came to Visit! So if you wanted the punctual update on this event, you should have checked Lisa's blog almost two months ago since she is a prompt blogger. One day I hope to be like her. With Lisa and Valerie in Cambridge. Blake and Caleb- little buddies! It was fun being able to say, "the boys.". On Harvard campus. Lisa and I instructed "the boys" to look smart. Mostly they just look tired and blinded by the sun. At Mount Auburn cemetary. Still at Mount Auburn.

Tuesday, August 6, 2013. Trip to Virginia and More. Time for the monthly-ish photo dump! Lots of trips to the park (Caleb loves the sandbox the most). Playing at the Frog Pond downtown. We got passes to the Museum of Science so we'd have somewhere to go with air conditioning. Caleb is clearly more intrigued by the stool than the gigantic triceratops skeleton behind him. Caleb loves to cook and help me out in the kitchen. Visit to the Lexington Green. Sometimes he tires himself out. And added some numbers.

Monday, June 24, 2013. Button, button, who's got the button? It's time for another photo dump! Caleb is really into buttons these days, so whether we're at the zoo or any of the wonderful children's museums here in Boston, he gravitates towards the buttons (even if the associated exhibit is broken). He played with the one at the zoo for fifteen minutes (that was one of the broken ones). I was starting to lose my sanity. Went on a date night to Ben and Jerry's and World War Z courtesy of Valerie! I always...

Wednesday, October 31, 2012. We had a great time celebrating Caleb's first birthday. It's hard to believe it's already been a year. The past eight and a half months* of it went by so fast! It was extra special because my parents and my brother, Matt, drove all the way up here from Virginia, and Aaron's parents joined us via Skype. Now for picture overload (in no particular order). I made the figurines out of clay, so they will make a reappearance for future Purcell babies' first birthdays. We recently* w...

Monday, February 11, 2013. The Blizzard of 2013". People started talking about the "Snowpocalypse" a couple of days before it hit. It was potentially the biggest snowstorm in the area since the Blizzard of 1978, so Aaron stayed home Friday and we hunkered down while the snow began to fall. Fortunately for us, we never lost power and our maintenance crew had people out shoveling and plowing our walkways every couple of hours throughout the night. All of my reading of The Little House. Saturday, September 28, 2013. Two ER Trips in Two Days. WHAT? A subtitle to this post could be, "In which Lauren complains and rants, making for a possibly annoying read." You have been warned. I'm pretty sure I've never been to the emergency room in my life, except for when I went into labor with Caleb. And possibly when I stuck a raisin really far up my nose when I was a toddler. My mom always referred to that as a "raisinectomy," but I'm not positive that is a real medical term. My brother flew in as ...

Tuesday, January 22, 2013. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Happy Birthday Aaron! Lots of holidays came and went- now it's time for some belated blogging. We spent Thanksgiving in Virginia. It was wonderful as always, except when every single person. Got sick. I'm not kidding- Caleb, Lauren, Aaron, my mom, my dad, and Matt. No one is really sure who started it- possibly Caleb, who ended up with his first (and second) ear infections. Posted by Lauren {MoneyHipMamas.com}. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Thanksgiving, ...
