Monday, June 17, 2013. I think Nick enjoyed his first Father's day. Owen and I made Daddy's favorite breakfast, including a Denver omelette and blueberry pancakes. That's right.be impressed. I'm pretty sure I haven't made breakfast in several years, but since I had Owen to help, why not? Scenes from the hike: Redwoods and Foxglove. Sunday, July 21, 2013. A tooth (and another on the way). I'm so proud. You'd think he explained nuclear fission to me, I'm so proud. I'm not really sure why it's so exciting, but it's just another thing that wasn't there yesterday but is quite prominent today. My little boy is growing up. And now he has a tooth. I think the next one is almost through as well, so he'll be sporting a bottom teeth smile. They aren't peas, but I'll let it go.this time. Saturday, July 13, 2013. Geoff the Giraffe is delicious.

Friday, September 13, 2013. Official stats: 20 lbs., 15 oz. (somewhere in the 75th percentile). 2975" tall (somewhere in the 98th percentile). Head still HUGE (47 cm) (somewhere in the 95th percentile). We spent the weekend at a small festival called the Solano Stroll. It's a street festival that highlights area restaurants, music and arts. We used to live in the neighborhood so I love going back to see what's new on that street. It also brings out the best in Bezerk-eley. My favorite? December 11, 2012.

Sunday, September 29, 2013. Well, we made it to our scheduled surgery date without another trip to the ER. Definitely a good sign! This surgery is an outpatient surgery and his recovery time should be just a day or two. He gets to come home only a few hours after surgery! Path a few times during our wait. When we finally had clearance to go see him, he was not excited about being in recovery at all. We had to wait a while for the anesthesia to wear off, but we were able to feed him right away.
