http://lindysbaysideconfections.blogspot.com/2012/01/valentines-day-cupcakes.html
Friday, January 20, 2012. These cupcakes were just an experiment. I figured I should get on the Valentine's Day bandwagon as soon as possible. I was also dying to try a new flavor! I have been snowed in most of the week with my kids and my hubby. If I didn't bake something TODAY I was going to go stir crazy! These are chocolate banana cupcakes. For some reason, I love banana bread, banana pancakes.most things banana. But banana cakes? Tomorrow I will post some cake photos from another simple Valentine's ...

Lindy's Bayside Confections: Simple Valentine's Day Cake
http://lindysbaysideconfections.blogspot.com/2012/01/simple-valentines-day-cake.html
Sunday, January 22, 2012. Simple Valentine's Day Cake. I topped the cake off with some bright pink disco dust and some red and pink sprinkles. It just adds a little color and flare. This is also a two-toned cake.half of the cake is red. The other half is pink! I wanted the hearts to be slightly dimensional. I used a combination of rose swirls, random swirls and stars to make the hearts. I think they look pretty good! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). There was an error in this gadget. Lindy's Bayside Confections: Gingerbread Cupcakes
http://lindysbaysideconfections.blogspot.com/2012/01/gingerbread-cupcakes.html
Monday, January 2, 2012. I had great Christmas cake expectations for myself. But my two beautiful boys kept me busy this season.so for a last attempt at Christmas baking, I cheated on these cupcakes! The idea for these came from Sweetapolita. No surprise there. :) I followed her double chocolate recipe for the cupcakes.they are very much a rich brownie sort of cupcake. The only change I made was that I added cinnamon to the recipe. I love a hint of cinnamon whereever I can squeeze it in! Upcoming Project...

Lindy's Bayside Confections: Ballerina Cupcakes
http://lindysbaysideconfections.blogspot.com/2012/01/ballerina-cupcakes.html
Monday, January 2, 2012. I love making adorable cupcake toppers. Especially for kids! Even my boys liked these quite a bit (although my oldest son announced that they were pretty, but he doesn't like girls' toys or dolls so I should never make these for him! These cupcakes were for a big girl, who turned 5, who loves ballerinas and purple and pink galore! Which is right up my alley! I began by making some ballet slippers. The slippers were all hand-made, with mini hand-made flowers and bows for toppers.

http://lindysbaysideconfections.blogspot.com/2012/01/cars-cake.html
Monday, January 9, 2012. As in Cars the movie.not just cars in general. A friend asked me to make a cake featuring the Cars characters. Especially Mater. I mean, Mater is my favorite.of course he would be the favorite of this special birthday boy too! Hence the race track idea at the top of the cake. The race track is fondant. The desert is made out of crumbled Hawaiian creme cookies. Yum yum. I can't believe I shared those actually. :D. Well okay, I really do like the entire cake. If you are interested ...

Lindy's Bayside Confections: July 2011
http://lindysbaysideconfections.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 29, 2011. Dark Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Swiss Meringue Buttercream Filling, and Mocha Espresso SMB Icing. I made this cake mainly because my husband has been watching a bunch of treats created and go right out the door, so this one was made with love for him and the boys to enjoy. I also wanted to use this cake as a way to experiement with the petal effect in my buttercream, which I learned from a video tutorial on http:/ www.mycakeschool.com/. I'm glad it turned out!
