What will this blog be like? Mostly musings, I suspect. And maybe a little more. Sunday, December 01, 2013. The many lives Ive lived. The only issue I see with living many lives in a lifetime is that there are very few who have seen you in each of those phases. Why else would school reunions be so popular? It's interesting to me that social media is helping us save some of those memories. In an unfiltered, un-doctored way - from the perspective of a lot more people than just a few chosen people.

What will this blog be like? Mostly musings, I suspect. And maybe a little more. Friday, August 23, 2013. Who will tell my story when I am gone? Who will know my thoughts and fears? Who speaks my language.my language of desire, of pain, of fear, of hope? Who has ridden these dreams with me.who understands that the girl I see in the mirror and the girl I really am are different? I wonder about that voice. Who will speak for me? Who will tell stories of me? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Follow me on Twitter.

An Urban Living Experiment. Everyday thoughts of a girl living in the city. Monday, January 30, 2006. Get Out of Thy Funk. I woke up in a blue funk again. It’s been lingering for a while now so I decided to do something about it today. I live in a vibrant neighbourhood full of energy, why not take advantage of it? I sat there and read about the Founding of Narnia, in C.S. Lewis’ The Magician’s Nephew. Awake Get out of thy funk. Posted by Steph at 1:55 PM. Sunday, January 29, 2006. Luckily, I’m not allowi...

An Urban Living Experiment. Everyday thoughts of a girl living in the city. Saturday, April 25, 2009. Because I want to highlight all the goodness that surrounds me right now. Hanging out with D on the couch listening to a never-ending Supertramp song. Paints and colours and textures, oh my! Our first sunny 20 Celsius day of the year. Hiking a new-to-me trail at the Mer Bleue bog (#8 on 36 Things. Chickadees, cardinals and woodpeckers outside my window. And all the Squammettes. The roof over my head.

I've even joined a group that specializes in Doors and Windows! I've always been drawn to taking pictures of windows and doors - now I realize that I'm not the only one! Pace e bene,.

jag e*space: where was i when i did that...
http://jagspace.blogspot.com/2009/01/where-was-i-when-i-did-that.html
Sometimes, all we need is a little breathing space. Thursday, January 08, 2009. Where was i when i did that. It all started with the bananas. I went to buy two bananas at the deli on my way into work. I reached into my bag to grab my wallet and it wasn't there. I could distinctly remember putting it in my bag earlier that morning! I asked the girl if I could pay her tomorrow and she said that was fine. Baffled about the whereabouts of my wallet, I left with my bananas. And I tucked it under my arm?

Sometimes, all we need is a little breathing space. Thursday, November 27, 2008. That seems to be my pattern lately. Nice thing is that it runs in cycles. Waves. Ebbs and flows. I'm coming out of a period particularly full of activity and commitments. All good. All chosen by me. It's been hectic, and fulfilling! Still Point House of Prayer, Springtown, ON. View from Room #2. One of my favourite spots for prayer and reflection: the dock. Pace e bene,. Tuesday, November 11, 2008. Pace e bene,. Yes, they can.

What will this blog be like? Mostly musings, I suspect. And maybe a little more. Monday, October 26, 2015. So excited to head home! I feel rested and recharged, strong and lean from all the hiking and moderate eating, playful, ready to take this next step (even with that twinge of adrenaline). You know sometimes it just takes getting out of your routine (and in my case, living two extraordinarily different and full lives), that made me hit the reset button! It's 11pm and I'm leaning on a jet plane. Bubbl...
Mostly Muskegon Photos by Nick Kroes
Photos by Nick Kroes. Midway up the western shore of Michigan's lower peninsula, Muskegon County is water, beaches, woods, factories, farms, and wonderful people. As it emerges from its "dirty old town" past of lumber, foundries and heavy manufacturing, Muskegon often surprises with its juxtaposition of industrial and idyllic - a combination that makes it a great place to live and a fun place to shoot pictures. My email address is nick.kroes@gmail.com. I'd love to hear from you. Thank you for stopping by.
