Thursday, July 09, 2009. I speak to my son over phone when I am in office and his answers amaze me. Conversation:. I: Ramana, what are you doing? Ramana: I am standing. Sometimes, he says "I am sitting" or "I am eating" or "I am speaking.". What amazes me is that his answers are coming from the present: just what he is doing right then. When you ask yourself the same questions, the answers are very different. Our answers have the tinge of past/future whereas kids speak of the present. Upadesha Saram - ta...

mostlytechie: July 2005

http://mostlytechie.blogspot.com/2005_07_01_archive.html

Tuesday, July 19, 2005. Bhatta took 4 of us: Gajju, Malatesh, Reddy and me to a discussion room and he spoke on Pythagoras theorem. He was trying to share his understanding and excitement created because of his reading! Those 10 minutes, there were just awesome! Just before doing all this, he made it clear how (a b)(a b) = a*a 2*a*b b*b. Not just multiplying things, this was done pictorially! I did a work out at my desk just to reinforce the learning! Kudos to you Bhatta! Posted by raghav at 4:27 AM.

mostlytechie: Upadesha Saram - talks by Swami Ishwarananda of Sri Chinmaya Mission

http://mostlytechie.blogspot.com/2009/02/upadesha-saram-talks-by-swami.html

Wednesday, February 04, 2009. Upadesha Saram - talks by Swami Ishwarananda of Sri Chinmaya Mission. I got 2 CDs of the talks on Upadesha Saram by Swami Ishwarananda of Sri Chinmaya Mission from a devotee of Bhagavan. I found this colleage in my office to be a devotee and when I spoke with him about he being a Bhagavan devotee, he passed these CDs to me. Beautiful I must say! There is meditation accompanied by the talks. One special mention is for the verse -. What more can you ask for?

Mostly Teal | (Gets Fit!)

June 30, 2015. June 30, 2015. Since my last post (on March 29, 2015) lots of things have changed! I started my new job at Queen Anne Anima Clinic last week as a Client Services Representative (essentially a receptionist/front office/etc) and I. Why am I such a perfectionist and why does the slightest failure seem to bring me down faster and harder than the average person? I’ve decided that my new mantra will be “everything in moderation.” Which is easier said than done! The Girl in Mostly Teal (Gets Fit!

Mostly tech related...

Random ramblings about mostly tech stuff. Sunday, May 15, 2011. Recently I had the need of cloning a number of object, traditionally you’d have to use reflection based techniques if you wanted a generic solution, (unless you go really hardcore with Reflection.Emit). The sample code below only accounts for public properties, but in many cases that isn’t enough. I have an entity I want to copy like so. I implemented reflection based copy like so (with some room for optimizations):. T,T CreateCopier T ().
