Thursday, July 10, 2008. Moar sambhar –. You all have heard of sambhar made of tamarind. This is a different sambhar made of curd. It tastes very good. Try it out. Thick curd-2 cups (sour curd). Tur dhall- ½ cup. Coriander seeds- 2 tsps. Fenugreek seeds – ½ tsp. Coconut Oil for seasoning. Heat a kadai and add red chillies, fenugreek seeds, coriander seeds ,. Gram fry till golden brown and grind it to a smooth paste. Add the boiled dhall, grinded paste, salt, turmeric and boiled vegetables to it.

Thursday, July 24, 2008. 450gms shelled Mutter (green peas). 2 medium onions (chopped). 6 cloves garlic (crushed). 1 tbsp grated ginger. 2 green chilies (chopped). 250gms / 1/2 lb tomatoes (peeled and sliced). 1cup curd / plain yogurt. 1 tsp turmeric powder. 1 tbsp coriander seeds. 1/2 cup ghee / vegetable oil. Press on a plank by a pressing roller. And roast the paratha both the sides by pouring little oil. Will be very tasty when it is served hot. Smear some butter on the parathas before serving. Turmeric powder- ½ tsp. Mix all the ingredients except oil and make it to a thick dough. Take a big lemom size ball out of the dough. Press on a plank by a pressing roller.
