Uniglomerular projection neuron in a sexual isomorphic glomerulus of the antennal lobe of Manduca sexta. Confocal stack showing a Lucifer yellow-filled sexually isomorphic projection neuron in one of the the so-called ordinary glomeruli of the antennal lobe of Manduca sexta. Ordinary glomeruli contrast with the much larger male-specific macroglomerulus which, with ordinary glomeruli. Can share the arborizations of multiglomerular projection neurons. Olfactory neuron ending in the mushroom body and lateral horn of Manduca. This low power confocal stack shows a Lucifer yellow-filled axon of an antennal lobe projection neuron with branches in the calyx and then an extension into the lateral horn. As in Drosophila.
