Heavy incessant rains for over twenty hours kept us zipped down in our three man tents and led to aborting the trek for the day. The rains subsided later in the morning and we spent the rest of the day in the fabulous settings that surrounded our camp site. A cute cafe at Belak. A view as we climb up to the next camp. Life on the bugyals. The cafe on the meadows. The view along the hike.

Encounters with spiritualism, fitness, travel and hobbies. Bleak yet stunning piles of snow. A sales conference at Ruka, Finland gave me my first brush with piles and piles of snow. At times it was bleak and desolate. On a snow mobile ride I hated the thought of veering off course and getting lost. A sleigh ride drawn by barking huskies was an experience I loved. Out of the world was the huge piles of snow we encountered as we drove to the Ruka Peak Restaurant for dinner. Amazing sights under night lights.
