We have traveled all day on a Scenic Train from Lucerne to Lausanne and what a BEAUTIFUL RIDE. We stopped Interlaken and walked around the cute shop along the main street. We only stayed in Interlaken for an hour and a half before we went on our next train that stopped at Ziessmann (spelling check later on that name!

We got out of the hostel by 10:00 am after trying to be quiet for the other guest in our hostel room. We were quiet until 8:30 and I think that is pretty nice (Beth). We went back up the crazy hill. We started off the weekend with a trip to see our handsome godson, Xander. He's getting so big! We also had a HUGE get together with Mark's dad's side of the family. His grandparents were Grand Marshals in the parade on Monday morning, and all 6 of his grandmother's siblings were able to make it in to see that. What a wonderful weekend that went by way too fast!

We went to the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center. I wish we would have had more time for some of the tours like mission control, but it was raining so hard they had to cancel a lot of them and then as you can imagine, the wait time was crazy! I'm back at work and starting my last year of school, and Mark has been gone a lot finishing up his thesis work before he has to start writing. We had a lot of fun during Labor Day weekend. My sister came to Mark's grandparent's cabin with us as well as some extended family. It was good to get away for a few days!
