Lena Hart Lives: Mid-Month Review
http://lenahartlives.blogspot.com/2009/01/mid-month-review.html
Sunday, January 18, 2009. So, clearly, the blogging has not been going well! But, I think I'm managing well with my other resolutions. It's a marathon, not a sprint! My running is going great. I feel really prepared for the Chattahoochee Challenge and am excited about the other races I have planned this year. I've also been getting in my yoga and Pilates cross training- four classes so far this month, which puts me on track for eight this month! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The real Lena speaks.

The Sunday Night Buttermilk Waltz. The Life and Times of the Tyners. Who would have thunk? March 18, 2010. Ever wondered how to get the inside of your dishwasher all sparkly and clean? Take one packet of lemon Kool-Aid, add it in as you would your detergent, and run it through a wash cycle. Lemon Kool-Aid, sans sugar, is just a highly concentrated dose of citric acid. The citric acid will eat away all the gunk leaving you with a lemony fresh and sparkly dishwasher! I promised to post more… I lied! So all...

Lena Hart Lives: September 2008
http://lenahartlives.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 29, 2008. The New Economies of Scale. Last night, I resumed reading Barbara Kingsolver's. Animal, Vegetable, Miracle,. But I recently started seeing a nutritionist and feel like I'm in a place where I can start to make better choices not just about what I eat, but the types of things I choose to consume and the people I support in making those choices. Monday, September 15, 2008. And what disheartens me even more is that during an election year in which this and any other host of issues...

Lena Hart Lives: October 2008
http://lenahartlives.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 15, 2008. The Land That Time Forgot. I often take walks in Brookwood. Hills-technically, my own neighborhood (at least for another few days), though I live on the wrong side of the tracks (seriously-the Amtrak station is a block away! What amazes me about this little enclave is that it literally sits in the shadow of Midtown- of office buildings that are home to Wachovia. Wait, Citibank- no Wells Fargo), AIG. And yet, in Brookwood. Much like the residents of that idyllic. The most diff...

Lena Hart Lives: Procrastination
http://lenahartlives.blogspot.com/2009/01/procrastination.html
Friday, January 2, 2009. My dad bought me a book entitled. Eat That Frog: 21 Great Ways to Stop Procrastinating and Get More Done in Less Time. Clearly, he knows his daughter well. And being the expert procrastinator that I am, the book sat on my shelf for several months. Until now. I actually picked it up today to read it, and it's providing me with invaluable advice and direction. I start every day with the best of intentions. As you can tell from my running blog. That ended today. I moved my desk ...

Lena Hart Lives: Resolutions
http://lenahartlives.blogspot.com/2009/01/resolutions.html
Thursday, January 1, 2009. I've been doing some exercises from my. Book, and one of them was to write down everything I wanted to accomplish in life, with the idea that this "wish list" will guide my decision making and business goals. Here's a sampling from that list:. Wouldn't it be wonderful if. I had no debt. I have enough money to retire one day. I can afford to buy a new car when mine dies- AND pay for it in cash. I could buy new clothes every season. I could run the NYC marathon. I could be publis...
