Mothering Life

Monday, November 21, 2011. There will always be serendipitous moments. Monday, November 7, 2011. I think I have become the Chinese Dear Abbey, or I would call it Dear Ling Chi, which is the name my students gave me. I get about 3-4 messages a day from my students asking for advice or help with something. I have included a few of the messages and my responses, I may do this weekly so anyone can see how dear, and wonderful these young women are. How are you doing these days in America? I think it is cool!

Mothering Life

http://motheringlife.blogspot.com/2011/10/101711-i-am-starting-to-feel-like-my.html

Tuesday, October 18, 2011. I went for a bike ride around the neighborhood tonight with my husband and daughter and enjoyed just looking at all the beautiful homes and yards. It is so different from China. The homes I saw were out in the middle of fields and in caves, and cement buildings. I take for granted all the beautiful things there are right here in my back yard. We have it so good. My brother called tonight and we talked. He asked me “ what is different about you since you went to china?

Mothering Life: I am growing by leaps and bounds

http://motheringlife.blogspot.com/2011/08/i-am-growing-by-leaps-and-bounds.html

Monday, August 29, 2011. I am growing by leaps and bounds. Facilitator training , computer classes with a friend and gotten a lot of help from friends doing power point presentations. Let me just say I was. Daily that If I would look ahead I panicked. If I lived daily and stayed present I did it without breakdowns. I am sold on the concept the present is all we have live it well. I leave tomorrow! September 17, 2011 at 11:31 PM. Mine is awful. I look forward to your upcoming post, Joyce!

Sunday, May 8, 2011. Wow, I haven't updated our blog for a while. Here are some of the things I can remember that we have done. Okay more of just April and May doings. Justin and I also got to ride the 4 wheelers around. That was a lot of fun and considering it was only my second time ever riding/driving one, I think I did pretty well. After lunch, we took some family pictures and got ready for his grandpa's birthday party. It was a lot of fun and it was nice to see family. Also, while planning the party...

http://jlbrinton.blogspot.com/2011/01/christmas.html

Sunday, January 2, 2011. On Christmas Eve it's a tradition to go out to dinner for my family so this year we went to Applebee's. We spent the night at my parents house so that we didn't have to have my parents call us to come over and open up gifts. The boys stayed up late. We were so glad that we were able to spend time with my family this year. We had a lot of fun talking and enjoying everyone's company. Thank you for everything. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas as well. Exit of the Envious.

http://jlbrinton.blogspot.com/2010/12/thanksgiving-and-more.html

Friday, December 3, 2010. So I'm trying to think if anything fun has happened before Thanksgiving but I can't think of anything so. We ended up going shopping at midnight at WalMart for some deals. We got rubbermaid containers, movies, sheets, a vacuum and a handmixer all for a great steal. We were really excited. After that we went home so I could get some sleep to go to work the next day :(. On Saturday it was my Dad's 50th birthday! Im so glad to hear your doing good :D You guys are the cutest couple.

Tuesday, February 3, 2015. Back in the Mommy Saddle Again. Well it has been a long time without posting and here is why. I had to return to full time employment after my son, Keith, sliced his fingers off in an accident. It's amazing how expensive delicate hand surgeons are. I about had a heart attack the first time I saw the office visit bill. $2500 he bills to my insurance company! I won't even tell you what he billed for the 5 hour surgery. AMAZING!
