Because I Want to Remember The Little Things: January 2009
http://littlethingshappen.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Because I Want to Remember The Little Things. Tuesday, January 27, 2009. AaRON - My Favorite New Album. I'm not typically the kind of person who seeks out and follows emerging, international artists, but I chanced upon a duo called AaRON (Artificial Animals Riding on Neverland) and I cannot stop listening to the entire album. Every song is good. Moody, but good. If you go to www.deezer.com. And search "AaRON" you can play their entire album, "Artificial Animals Riding on Neverland" for free. On December ...

Tell me a story. no prompt. Recovery. for all of us. →. August 12, 2014. It’s raining. it’s actually pouring and it has been for hours. somehow i can’t cry anymore. the grey day is very calming to me, making me feel at once small and yet timeless. appropriate. like my body is conducting my soul toward a meeting set years ago. i feel the storm is endless. The mountains of disbelief (did i say that? The next hours were just pain and more pain. an ultrasound that was excruciating. Then she was sitting alone...

Yoga, Mama? | Piles of Laundry
https://imsufyan.wordpress.com/mother-yoga
I am a Viniyoga trained teacher at the 500 hour level. I have over 11 years of teaching experience in both public and private classes. After I became a mother I struggled to have a regular yoga practice. I would come to my mat feeling the pressure of dishes in the sink, dinners to be made, email to be checked, and PILES OF LAUNDRY to be folded, and find myself. Distracted that I would give up and go back to mom-work. Frustrating! To practice with. I modify to make whatever I am doing appropriate for ...

My Blue Eyed Boys: February 2011
http://theblueyedboy.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
My Blue Eyed Boys. Tuesday, February 1, 2011. In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer." Albert Camus. There is an obsession with BIRTH. What kind of birth. Was it the birth. Tell me your birth. I know it sounds callus, and I apologize, but I'm concerned that we're idealizing and fixating on the wrong process. It's like the bride who obsesses about all the perfect details on her wedding, and loses sight of the marriage. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

My Blue Eyed Boys: July 2010
http://theblueyedboy.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
My Blue Eyed Boys. Wednesday, July 21, 2010. And he takes off. Xander started walking a week and a half ago, taking a few timid steps before sitting back on his rump. Now, he's walking around everywhere, barely crawling at all! Wednesday, July 14, 2010. Put you hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it feels like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it feels like a minute. THAT'S relativity." - Albert Einstein. I swear he's trying to keep up with her! They did laps around my living room squeal...

My Blue Eyed Boys: May 2010
http://theblueyedboy.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
My Blue Eyed Boys. Sunday, May 2, 2010. Ready, set. GO! If you obey all the rules you miss all the fun" - Katherine Hepburn. Well, it's official! Xander is now crawling! From an unsure scoot and pull, but full out tummy off the floor and a determined destination in one weekend! Which usually received with a loud yell or even tears as he's put facing the opposite direction or as I confiscate his immediate obsession. Nice break for Mama! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). http://littlethingshappen.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Because I Want to Remember The Little Things. Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Back Again . . . It's Been a While. It's been almost a year since I last posted a blog entry here. A lot was uncertain in my life then and as I re-read my postings I remember the helpeless and drowning feelings that consumed my every thought. And here I am, a year later, battling some of the same issues and faced with new ones as well. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Mia and Mommy on Mother's Day 2008.

Because I Want to Remember The Little Things: November 2009
http://littlethingshappen.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Because I Want to Remember The Little Things. Monday, November 2, 2009. So I have decided to create art using a medium I just can't get enough of - paper! I absolutely love paper. I can't tell you how many books and journals I have because there's such an allure for me to write and create. I am using canvas boards for my small-scale pieces and then I am mounting the handmade, specialty, cardstock. Once I have a few done I will create an Etsy. Store and officially start selling.
