I feel as though I should get off the carnival ride I call life and take a rest…sit back and review before it continues to speed on. I am NOT ready for the second half of the school year to start, let alone the whole next year to commence. My classroom is a wreck, packing up supplies, taking everything off the walls (they say they will be washing the walls this summer? Yet, I am teaching “summer school” for 4 weeks, so I still need some of my “things”! Ahhhh, so many last minute tasks….my mind is darting here and there…which tasks to accomplish first? We headed off about 5 days ago for a trip back to Virginia to see friends and family. Wanting to be efficient, I figured we would do some college tours on our trip. Let your 17-year-old son pick the colleges he wants to see and schedule the tours. Can they not do an adequate job for, say….25K? I feel like I was adequately educated for much less than 50K! 5 colleges in 3 days.
