http://godmeandacupofcoffee.blogspot.com/2015/01/james-112.html
Monday, January 26, 2015. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights who does not change like shifting shadows." James 1:12. I am totally on track with my reading for the year, horribly behind on my blogging! Reading James - I will be honest, I have a love/hate relationship with James! Considering it pure joy when I face trials. not so joyful here! My heart is breaking. because all it would take for real joy and real peace if for them to just STOP an...

http://godmeandacupofcoffee.blogspot.com/2015/01/365-days-through-bible.html
Friday, January 2, 2015. 365 Days Through the Bible. I have started today, with a reading plan to go through the Bible in 365 days. I read through the Bible about 2 years ago in 90 days, and although I enjoyed it, I know there is so much more God wants me to see and know about His word! The awesome website #SheReadsTruth will be going through the entire Bible - so I'm jumping in with them. (They are also beginning this year with a study on the book of John - you should check it out! My thought - for 2015...

God Me and A Cup of Coffee: It has to die.....
http://godmeandacupofcoffee.blogspot.com/2015/02/it-has-to-die.html
Sunday, February 1, 2015. It has to die. Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies,. It remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.” ( John 12:24. I've really never look at this verse very closely, until today. Jesus - had to die, be buried and be raised from the dead - to bear much fruit. It was after He completed what He was sent to do - bring salvation to the lost. He bore much fruit. Posted by Vanessa Carlson. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

God Me and A Cup of Coffee: July 2014
http://godmeandacupofcoffee.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 21, 2014. Seeing God in my children. Is the most amazing gift. Knowing that they love the Lord is everything. Seeing my children worship - with total abandon compels me to be a more open and honest worshiper. I love to see my children with their arms raised high, or jumping up and down to the music that speaks to them. When did we as adults become so solemn in our worship? I want to be totally unashamed and awesomely free to worship my Jesus! I want Him to know that there is nothing in this ...

Life with the Mendenhalls: January 2015
http://mendenhallway.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Life with the Mendenhalls. Saturday, January 24, 2015. Some of the moments in life that give me the most gray hairs also are the funniest.later. He didn't mean to cut class. We were hoping to take a family ski trip this year, and thanks to some Christmas money (thanks, Gramma Matchett! An hour later, Tyler picked up Colin and Grace uneventfully, and I went in search of Nathaniel. We had seen him working station B while we rode the lift, so I started there. Nope. Station C? Colin and Grace were good sport...

Life with the Mendenhalls: July 2014
http://mendenhallway.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Life with the Mendenhalls. Thursday, July 31, 2014. Happy first day of 1st grade and 3rd grade, kids! I came into the kids' bathroom today as Nathaniel finished brushing his teeth. N: "Mom, are there 180 days of school every year? N: "I don't want to go to school for 180 days. That's too many.". Me: "How many days would you like to go? N: "How about 70 days? Then how many times would I go to gym? My outdoor-loving, hard-playing boy seemed happy enough with that. Labels: days of school. Go with the flow?

http://mendenhallway.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Life with the Mendenhalls. Saturday, March 29, 2014. Sweet and sunny six. I started this post two weeks ago, and the next day my Oma went to be with Jesus. We are so happy for her and had a wonderful celebration of her life last weekend in Pennsylvania. Nathaniel started his birthday with breakfast pancakes in his favorite MarioKart jammies. We let him open one present: a putter and golf bag, in case he wanted to take them on his birthday adventure. At Build-a-Bear (Grace's party and present! Grace reque...
