A typical Tibetan Buddhist woman spinning the prayer wheels at Boudhanath Stupa. She requested that I take her photo so I did. At the northern part of Boudhanath Stupa. These two statues represent security of the Lord Buddha. I strongly believe that Lord Buddha is the light and these statues keep constant the light of knowledge he spreads. These are Dhunge Dhara ancient public stone taps that are common in Nepal. The water from these taps is very pure and it is believed that drinking from them will refresh you for life. Young Buddhist monks at the world-famous Boudhanath Stupa. You see lots of monks of all ages around they attend the many monasteries in the surrounding area and come to the Stupa to worship. I take care of him and clean out the cows’ living space he is like a part of our family. My roommate in our Tailoring training class.
