La douce vie: Frock It, Part 2
http://ladouceviesuisse.blogspot.com/2011/05/frock-it-part-2.html
Living the good life in Switzerland. Wednesday, 11 May 2011. Frock It, Part 2. Oh, I am so LATE. I should have done this post on Monday, but my Mum was still here and we were too busy drinking wine to think of doing stuff like housework and blogging. She left this morning and I am catching up on housework and blog - honest, Mum. I really did do the hoovering today, ask the kids. They even had to tidy up their junk and finish their homework. Ok, I digress. The idea behind Frock It! Frock this week is:.

The Job Interview, the Illuminati and Paul McCartney | In the Riot Mind
https://intheriotmind.wordpress.com/2012/09/06/the-job-interview-the-illuminati-and-paul-mccartney
Dealing with OCD, anxiety and a big bastard bowl of washing up. In the Riot Mind. The Job Interview, the Illuminati and Paul McCartney. Sometimes, when I want to moan about my current job, I decide instead to reminisce about two things. 1 Attending the shitiest, most patronising, hollow, corporate-slurping, ethos-pounding and ideologically vapid “job interview” in the world ever and 2. Working. Hang on. Interview day. What the fuck is an interview. The day of reckoning arrived. I entered the store pr...

Women who want it all. | Honey n Cream
https://honeyncream.wordpress.com/2012/04/26/women-who-want-it-all
She said, he said, they said… all the things we know we shouldn't say. Skip to primary content. Who are Honey and Cream. Women who want it all. April 26, 2012. I’m a sexist pig. You might think this makes me a feminist, but you’re wrong for two reasons:. It’s not for me to say I’m a feminist. If a woman thinks I am, fine. But I don’t think men can claim they’re feminists, because that’s kinda missing the point. So I must be a sexist pig, right? But in spite of liking women, they do drive me fucking scatty.

The Untamed Shrew: Nature
http://shrewuntamedagain.blogspot.com/2012/07/nature.html
Thursday, 19 July 2012. Don't know about you but I'm a bit depressed by the rain this summer. Nearly everything I like doing requires me to be outside (apart from drinking gin, reading and having a boogie - although these can be sun drenched activities too.) and being outside has meant one thing so far this summer - getting drenched. That's not drenched in a 50ShadesofPurpleProse sort of way, thats drenched in a "Went outside for 2 seconds can I please have a bath towel and a hairdryer now? Sort of a way.

Monday, 14 November 2011. 5 Things You Didn't Know About Me Before (and probably didn't want to) . Chasing the meme that is 5 Things. I was amused to read Mostly Yummy Mummy's. Blogpost. While I can't lay claim to a cassette tape of JUST "Especially for You", I can come up with 5 facts for you to find uninteresting over your morning coffee. 1 I have twice signed the Official Secrets Act. Yes, I know how funny that is. 3 Favourite cake: Coffee and Walnut. Don't hate me. Ps Extra unwarranted fact:. It tran...

The Untamed Shrew: October 2012
http://shrewuntamedagain.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, 14 October 2012. Instead I'm going to join the local Amateur Operatic Society and ham it up at every given opportunity. I've cancelled my internet dating subscription. Decided I'd rather get on with my life as it is. It's made me (mostly) happier already and I only actually finally decided all of this today. The Minis are supportive and that's all that matters. And as one darling person on twitter put it "They don't make Zimmer frames for two, y'know! Rosamundi, I love you! Delivered To Your Door.

Mills & Boon Wannabe: December 2011
http://millsandboonwannabe.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Mills and Boon Wannabe. The day-by-day creative journey of a stay-at-home dad writing a romantic novel and wondering if he can possibly take it seriously. This is how it began. My sister Anna, a brilliant and witty writer, suggested that we should try to write a romance novel according to the guidelines published by Mills and Boon. Not as easy as it sounds, apparently. She created a finely judged opening paragraph and sent it. Who knows where this project will take us? Friday, 23 December 2011. I’m...

Ramblings of a somewhat choice single mother. I’m a once-single mum of two boys (4 and 8) who was ‘attempting the ordinary’ after conceiving my second son by donor. I'm now married and pregnant and its complicated - again. These are my anonymous ramblings about life, love, parenting and the rest – emptying my head of the weird, the wonderful and the mundane. Where There’s Fame There’s A Claim. Like, OMG. WTF. Totes shitballs. I’m one of those women aren’t I? One of those women I bitch about. Who spends her whole life talking about her kids. Well, her whole blog anyway. I’m spending my whole blog talking about my kids. Not that my blog. I’m lying, of course. My life may be full. But of terribly exciting stuff? Not so much. The dental hygienist? After helping out at The Soap Awards one year (a career high never to be equalled) I challenged Ben Freeman of then-...
