A woman in the group i belong to says she's "morally opposed" to burning CDs b/c it's stealing from the musicians. 目前所有軟化用藥劑皆為酸或鹼劑，用來將標本肌肉腐敗，因此量多的話對於新鮮組織有破壞的效果，也就是DNA會變質不太能作後續的分子研究，但對於一般性的標本還是可以這樣處理，而重要的標本我們會在放氨水前先把一兩隻足部拔除泡進酒精保存，翅身再做標本。除了氨水以外亦有人用醋酸作軟化。氨水可以用來迷昏蟲體，但刺激性高於乙酸乙酯會造成蟲體劇烈拍打翅膀，在乙酸乙酯無法獲得時仍可使用。使用濃度依作業時間而定，愈濃時間愈短，愈淡時間愈長。我在夜間點燈採集時以2 3罐乙酸乙酯毒瓶迷昏蛾隻，5 10min後直接倒入另一氨水瓶中直接軟化，等採集間歇時夾出進四角袋。直接倒入的步驟前有時間的話我會先將重要標本、綠色系青尺蛾亞科、綠色、淡黃色瘤蛾科、鑲夜蛾屬與白色系蛾類先夾出直接放進四角袋。若. 當晚點燈狀況好或是晚上需早點就寢的話，我會將氨水濃度將低(加水就好)然後將氨水瓶與標本留置到隔天清晨在收進四角袋。以上提供參考。若採集後30 60min可以回到有冰箱的住宿區，而後續到標本製作時間不長於1周，則採集時以氨水處理步驟可考慮省略。 65292;就可以用鑷子將翅膀收摺至胸部背方，在放入紙袋；.
