Site hosted and developed by. In May 2001 Sarah and I left the North of England to travel overland by cycle, climbing mountains and sailing across the oceans using our own natural power. Our destination is the Southern Hemisphere and Antarctica. This, as far as we are aware, has never been done before. The entire project will be as natural and self sufficient as possible, wild camping using minimal expense with an open mind to whatever challenges pop up. We estimate this to take 3 years. I've been living in Claire and Maura's old apartment in the Hip and trendy part of town Surry Hills, it's a perfect locale with all the best ethnic restaurants in Sydney just a stones throw from my doorstep.
