Friday, April 19, 2013. Sometimes I really like the look of the "tracker" style bikes. I'm not entirely sure I would actually take one off roading, but down a gravel fire road at 90mph? A page to follow the tear down and build up of my 1975 RD350. Tuesday, March 12, 2013. I needed to grind down a big chunk of the rear frame to get the fiberglass seat to sit how I wanted it to. I re-welded the seam after I ground it off. It should work. Gap to be welded. After welding in the gap and re-grinding. I'll be welding some tabs on here for the fiberglass pan. I guess I didn't take a "final" picture of this, but it turned out clean and smooth. Finally getting the hang of this, but it still takes about three times as long as I think it should. Getting a little out of control with the sawzall, grinder and file. I got a little anxious and made some mistakes. Don't get too close to the frame with the sawzall when cutting out unwanted tabs.
