KaunoMan Art: Some New Drawings
http://kaunoman.blogspot.com/2007/10/some-new-drawings.html
Sunday, October 14, 2007. I finally got around to doing some more character studies. I plan on bringing them all together into one composition. I love the way they're all getting fleshed out. Especially the main character. More more more. October 24, 2007 at 10:19 PM. This comment has been removed by the author. October 31, 2007 at 10:34 PM. Love the crazy hair on the woman! motoko wada art blog-3D: superheroes..
http://motokowadaartblog-3d.blogspot.com/2010/02/superheroes.html
Here is another Visual Effects work I did at Giant Killer Robots. This is a superhero movie "Fantastic 4". The story is taking place in New York City, but the shooting was all done in Vancouver. Which means, all environment were generated by computer graphics. In this image below, there is no real material- even actors are CG double. I did characters textures, too. some shots were finished with these actors "double".

motoko wada art blog-2D: painting
http://motokowadaartblog-2d.blogspot.com/2010/03/painting.html
This is the old piece I painted when I was in Japan. This piece consists of two half-clear FRP panels which are parallel with about 2 inches space between. I painted inside of the first panel. It's hard to tell from the picture, but lights coming through clear panels makes a nice effect. I created a few pieces in this style, I keep only this now, others were sold or given away. this piece received Graphic Arts Honor Award at 12th Tokyo Urbanart Project. Mixed media 41.3in x 58.4in x2.4in.

motoko wada art blog-misc: blueprints
http://motokowadaartblog-misc.blogspot.com/2010/03/blueprints.html
I drew a hundred of blueprints while I worked at the space design company in Japan. I designed all kinds of objects inside of the museums and theme parks, so most of the blueprints were drawn by hands on the tracing papers- no digital tools! Here are some copies. For Shinagawa Histrical Museum(Tokyo, japan). For Edo Tokyo Garden Museum(Tokyo, japan). For Miyazaki Prefecture Museum of Nature and History(Miyazaki,Japan). motoko wada art blog-misc: crazy Japanese model makers craftsmanship...
http://motokowadaartblog-misc.blogspot.com/2010/03/crazy-japanese-miniature-craftsmanship.html
Crazy Japanese model makers craftsmanship. You know there are many miniature models and dioramas in the museums of nature/history to explain something. I drew many blueprints of them too, and I was always amazed by fine detailed work of Japanese. Model craftsmen who made them into real 3D. below is the 1/10 miniature model of 1960's corporate apartment for "Tokyo Gas Museum". Click the picture to enlarge and look how crazy detailed they made. seriously, they are insane!

motoko wada art blog-misc: maquettes
http://motokowadaartblog-misc.blogspot.com/2010/03/maquettes.html
Sometimes I made maquettes of prototypes of the objects- -characters, mascots, models, whatever placed in museums or theme parks. Below was for the theme park "Hyonosen Shizen Hureai Park"(Tottori, japan), which was featuring northern European fairies and elves folklore. You can skip to the end and leave a response.
