Monday, July 18, 2011. Yellowstone made the paper. How is it that in just a couple of weeks I will be back setting up my classroom? Reception at warehouse live. They performed for everyone plus i got to see Cara! Jon and gunjen get married. Heard the likes of Tyagaraja, Black Joe Lewis, Big Boi, Bun B, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Chromeo, Cut Copy, and Weezer. I even got to go backstage and meet some of these guys! Sunday, November 28, 2010. With my mom being the youngest of six kids, our family gatherings tend to get rather large (as in around 50 people. huge! Thanksgiving was a smaller group this year. There were twelve of us at the house, but we still had a great time. My mom made pomegranate martinis. Yum! And what family function doesn't involve some sort of margarita and a plethora of beer? How is it that there was only one cousin this year? My mom's Jack Daniels Pie. Yes, Jack Daniels. Yes, it is amazing.

Monday, February 14, 2011. Sweet Maddie started preschool 2 days a week this fall and really enjoys it. She has gotten really into pretending and loves having a little brother to involve in her play. Maddie is expressing herself more and more and continues to be really kind and generous (for the most part) towards others.
