An old walnut mill with attached modern house and gite situated in a picturesque valley of the river Cele in the Auvergne. Moulin du Clout is about a 20 minute drive from the town of Maurs 'the Nice of the Cantal'. A pleasant place to shop with a Thursday morning market, cafes, restaurants and all the usual sorts of shop. The Tour de France came through in 2004 and 2011. A stunning architectural gem although a bit touristy. A good day out but get there early as parking is a problem. VISITORS TO THE MOULIN.

We know this because the time has come to fill in our Tax Returns - or else! I shall put it off another day at least so that I can write this blog. We had a splendid Christmas after recovering from the cough and cold that so many people seem to have had. Christmas itself was spent at Graig Fach with the family. This one is mine!

It is now the middle of April - 3 months since the last post and there has been plenty to write about but I just never got round to it somehow. Jim, Lincoln and I went down to the Auvergne with a transit van to collect things that we didn't want to leave there. A busy couple of days including a pleasant evening at Den and Caro's who kindly asked us over for supper. Bo standing on head right.

CADS Market Theatre, Cowbridge. Amateur Dramatic Society Contact Number: Chairman 01446 772141. Wednesday, 10 February 2010. Hamlet - 45 minutes (like WMD's). The AGM, which lasted less than 45 minutes, was followed by PSLB's 45 minute long version of Shakespeare's Hamlet. The play, with a cast of 14, overran a bit! It lasted 1½ hours. However, much fun was had by cast and both members of the audience seemed to enjoy it. The Ghost was less ethereal when it came to downing milled wine and mince pies.
